Hi Friends,

Just a quick reminder that we are having a meat sale today from 2-4 at our farm on Lanes Mill Rd.  We will have some new items from our latest group of pigs that were processed.  Our new offerings this week are Italian Sausage and Bratwurst links.  We also have a wide offering of other individual frozen cuts of all natural beef, lamb, pork and pasture raised chicken.

If you can't make it this week, please mark your calendar for our next sale on August 24 to stock up for all the back to school meals.  We also have a quarter beef vacuum packaged and ready to be picked up.  If you are looking at freezer beef for later, we have spots available later this month and next month as well.  If you have any questions, please let us know.

Hello there, We hope this finds you well.

A few updates from our farm:

July has been a VERY busy month. We’ve harvested over 100 acres of wheat and have bailed over 3,500 bales of straw. We have about 1,500 to go!

Because of our hectic schedule, we are going to push back our Aug 3rd meat sale a week. Our August meat sales are August 10, 2-4 and August 24th, 2-4. We hope to see you then!

We have freezer pork available for purchase this month at $2.35 per pound hanging weight. Information on freezer pork can be found at http://reserverunfarm.com/freezer-pork-pricing-and-info. 

We also have a quarter beef processed and available for pick up.  It is priced at $3.65/lb. based on the hanging weight.  That price includes all of the processing and vacuum packaging.

Hi there,

We hope you are having a great week. It’s been busy on the farm—We are in the midst of our wheat harvest.

Just a quick reminder that we have a meat sale this Saturday from 2-4.

We will have our usual cuts of beef, pork, and lamb and will have chicken just back from the butcher. 

Something new this weekend is beef for jerky.

Lastly, we will have sign ups for freezer pork.

Please join us this weekend for our annual Forth of July meat sale this Saturday from 2-4.

We will have special deals for beef, pork, and chicken cuts that are perfect for grilling.

Orders totaling over $100 will receive a 5% discount and orders over $200 will receive a 10% discount.

Our first round of summer chickens will be available Saturday in a variety of cuts. If you pre-ordered chicken, your order will be ready for pick up on Saturday.

Hi Friends,

This Thursday will be our first pre-order meat pick up date.  I have attached the price sheet with our current inventory to this email.  You can fill it out and email it back, or just email us with the items and quantity that you would like.  We will package up your box of meat ahead of time and will have it ready to go when you show up.  We also have eggs available, they are not on the list.  Eggs are $4/dozen.  Pick up time will be from 6:30-7:30.  If you have any questions please let me know.

Hi Friends,

Things are getting busy around the farm.  We recently wrapped up a fun filled weekend last weekend hosting Butler County Farm Day and our first session of goat yoga.

Farm Day was a great success.  We worked with teams from Butler County Soil and Water District and The Ohio State Extension to host over 300 people at the farm on Saturday.  We had all of the animals hanging around as well as some displays from local businesses and agricultural groups. Samples of our hamburger were prepared by the folks at The Coach House in the form of tasty meatballs.  The rain held off until the very end and everyone had a great time. 

Farm Day is held every other year at one farm in the county. We were honored to be asked to host the event. My grandparents hosted the beef cattle portion of this event back in 1978 when the tour was a self guided driving tour around the county.  

Goat yoga was on Sunday.  It was the first yoga event we had hosted.  Yoga instructor Jamie Ross from Self Love Yoga guided our guests through a fun filled hour in our bank barn.  Our goats made many new friends on Sunday.  We will be hosting monthly sessions on Sundays throughout the summer.

Tomorrow, the 11th, we will be hosting a meat sale from 2-4.  We have also set dates for the rest of the summer. On May 23 from 6:30-7:30 we are trying out the concept of a mid week meat pick up.  All of the orders will be pre-orders and we will have everything boxed up beforehand.  It should be a quick way to keep your fridge and freezer stocked up in between the monthly sales on the farm.

The on-farm sale dates for the rest of the summer are June 15, June 29, July 13, August 3, and August 24.  The time of the sales will be from 2-4.

Hi Friends,

The weather tomorrow is supposed to be fantastic.  With that in mind, we decided to have a meat sale tomorrow.  We have attached a pre-order sheet with current inventory on it.  There are some items we will run out of during the sale, so pre-ordering is a great way to have a better chance to get what you would like.  It also saves time at pick up.

We will be open 3-5 tomorrow, a little later than normal, so hopefully that works with your schedule.  If that time frame doesn't work, feel free to email the attached pre-order sheet and we can set up a time on Sunday or an evening during the week to pick it up.

We have open spaces for freezer beef going in to the butcher on April 22nd and May 20th.  Please let us know if you have questions or would like to reserve a portion.  

One last note, on Saturday May 5th, we are very proud to be hosting the Butler County Farm Day at our farm from 10-2 in conjuction with Ohio State Extension and Butler County Soil and Water Conservation District and Butler County Farm Bureau.  It is a large event held every other year at a hosting farm in the county.  We will have the entire farm and animals will be on display, along with many farm organizations having displays and presentations.  It will be a great time and a great way to learn about what we do and how we do it.  We hope everyone can make this special event.

Hi Friends,

We wanted to let you know that we have a few spots open for freezer pork and lamb.  We need all reservations secured by this Thursday at noon.  The meat will need to be picked up at the butcher by the end of next week.  Pick up at the farm is available for an additional fee.

Freezer pork is available in whole and half hog quantities.  Lamb is sold as the whole animal.  Freezer pork pricing and info is listed on our website.  If you are interested in lamb, please reply to this email and I'll get you the information.

Hi Friends,

Things are busy on the farm and we haven't even gotten to Spring yet.  We have had quite a few lambs, calves and kids (goats) in the past couple of months.  We have been so busy, we haven't had many days available for a meat sale.  We have decided to have a sale tomorrow, February 16th from 2-4.  We are also posting the date of our next meat sale, which will be Saturday March 9th from 2-4.

We are running a "slow cooker sampler" special for this week's sale.  The special will be one chuck roast, one rolled rump roast, one chuck flat roast and 5 pounds of stew meat.  That combination will receive 10% off of the regular retail price.  We have created a price list with our currently available items.  I have inserted it into this email.  We encourage pre-orders, especially this week, because we will be a little under staffed.  All pre-orders received before midnight tonight will receive 5% off the entire order. Pre-orders can be picked up as early as 1:45 tomorrow until 4 p.m.

One last note, at the end of this month we will be taking pork and lamb to the butcher.  If you have any interest in purchasing a pig or lamb for freezer meat, please let us know so we can reserve your animal.  We will have pricing and information published on the website in the next few days regarding those items.  We also have openings for the next couple of months for freezer beef as well.

Hi Friends,

The recently past Thanksgiving holiday was a great opportunity for us to reflect on the past year and to give thanks to the wonderful friends and family in our lives.  Our harvests are complete, and now it's time to share the bounty.  We are very thankful for you, our great customer's who have made 2018 another great year. 

As a token of our appreciation, we are running a special for our upcoming meat sale this Sunday, December 2nd from 2-4.
